About GasCal
What is this?
GasCal is a free tool that helps Filipino motorists find the cheapest gas station for their trip — factoring in the cost of detouring to get there.
Data Sources
Fuel prices are sourced from the Department of Energy (DOE) Philippines weekly price advisories, supplemented by community-submitted reports.
Methodology
When you plan a trip, we calculate the total cost of fueling at each station: fill cost + fuel burned getting to the station (detour). The cheapest option wins — not just the lowest listed price.
